After serving in Iraq and witnessing the horrors of war, Wesley returned home with a changed mindset, haunted by anxiety and trust issues. He felt lost and overwhelmed by guilt for the friends he couldn't save. Struggling with addiction and thoughts of ending it all, he discovered hope at Stars and Strides, a therapeutic riding center. Riding Apache, Wesley found solace and healing. The bond with his horse helped him leave his troubles behind and embrace life's uncertainties. Through this therapeutic journey, he discovered that even amidst pain, there's beauty in moving forward.
