Bud Lyon: Introducing the Logs
New on Ride TV

6m 8s
Bud Lyon introduces the three-year-old reining filly to the logs for what's almost certainly the first time in her life, starting with a single log at the walk before working up to trotting and a set of four in a row. She surprises him, careful and deliberate about where she places her feet but never scared or refusing, which is exactly what a trainer hopes to see and what makes the ranch trail down the road so much easier. It's a promising note to close the evaluation on, and one less thing to worry about going forward.
