The World Championship Ranch Rodeo, produced annually by the Working Ranch Cowboys Association (WRCA), is the ultimate proving ground for working ranch teams. Since its founding in 1995 by cowboy leaders committed to preserving Western heritage and genuine cattle work, the WRCA has built the WCRR into a marquee event that celebrates authentic ranch skills. Throughout the competition, teams face challenges rooted in everyday ranch tasks—ranch bronc riding, team penning, wild cow milking, stray gathering, team branding, and the wild horse race.
